I took a few pictures in my garden... I love spring flowers, I only wish they lived longer then they do...
It's Easter tomorrow.... The sun is out so I guess we'll have a nice day~

Spring Flowers...

I've not posted anything is a while, I've just been trying to keep up with quilting for friends, making a table runner for a wedding first and now I'm making a baby quilt for my niece. I'm hoping to get two of them done, I've had to put everything aside for this. I have been working on the borders for a quilt that I've admired and collected fabrics with small flowers for a long time. I had completed some of the block and put my mind to getting the main part of the quilt done last year. I've had the book since 1986~ Time to get it done, on the borders I'm appliqueing, needle turning the leaves and flowers, I carry it back and forth to our quilting group instead of taking my sewing machine. It's slow going but I'm loving it and can hardly wait to complete it and get it laying on my guest bed.
It's summer time and I am really enjoying the spring flowers. My OH SO LITTLE Lilac tree is really full of flowers this year ~ it had to be the cold winter months we had. I understand Lilac tree love cold weather? I don't dare bring the flowers in the house or our little cat friends will try and eat them, I know Gidget the Queen of cats, will be the first one to investigate. She's so bad at that, no more house plants with her around. Unless Jonny is sitting with the squirt bottle in hand! Bad Kitty! But her good out weighs the bad.
