Nativity Scene Table Runner

I just put the finishing touches on three Christmas gifts. Nativity scene table runners. I was trying to find time last year to make them but couldn't fine any. With the first day of December here I might find time to make more gifts? I'm made a cake for our Bible study this morning that's on Tuesday, actually I started last night. I made the sauce that goes into the flour and soda, so that was a good head start and it's got to cool so it had plenty of time. I also made a banana bread, I'm not so sure I'm happy with how this recipe turned out? The recipe called for three banana's, no measurements I feel it turned out kind of spongy? Maybe that's the way it's suppose to be? However I like it on the dry side. Any way I had fun making it. Our Thanksgiving was nice, Leslie's step father Dan is allergic to cats and I was not aware of this! So they had to eat and leave as he started sneezing and his eyes started itching and watering. Poor man, I had no idea, they were here last year and he didn't have any reactions but we only had one cat and now we've got two more. Poor Dan! As soon as they left so did Eric, Leslie and her brother Steven. Nothing like having everybody leave at the same time... sad~ ~

Well I was really surprised that this worked. I mean putting picture onto my blog. Thanks to my Sweet Friend Janet in cold Ohio for her encouragement!
I went to our quilting group today and had a nice time, saw a lot of really great ideas the ladies are working on for Christmas gifts. I forgot my camera or I'd slow some. I did get a few idea but most likely for next year! I always end up collecting more ideas in December for next year as there isn't time to finish all the things I have in mind. I'm posting a photo of a quilt I just quilted for one of my friends she made for her great grandson. You can't see the quilting as I used clear thread. She was very pleased with what I did.

Getting use to this~

Summer is behind us and all the trees are showing a sign of fall, There's nothing here compared to state back east I know but there is some beautiful colors in the trees. More then likely trees that aren't a native to this area?
